Gold Star Outfitters, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity, which provides pro bono outdoor recreational opportunities to our nation's Gold Star Families, veterans, first responders and all families suffering loss.  Based in China Village, Maine, Gold Star Outfitters specializes in lake, pond and river fishing, and canoe trips on Maine's Allagash, Penobscot, Kennebec and Sebasticook Rivers.  This service also provides action oriented  team building and corporate training opportunities to leadership teams in the great outdoors.

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings.  Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Maryland. PHWFF is dependent on tax-deductible, charitable donations and the help of numerous volunteers to meet the educational, equipment, transportation, and related needs of its participants.

The Travis Mills Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that supports combat injured veterans and their families through long term programs that help these heroic men and women overcome physical obstacles, strengthen their families, and provide well-deserved rest and relaxation.

HOUSE IN THE WOODS

 

House in the Woods’ mission is to create a therapeutic, recreational, and educational retreat for our nation’s U.S. armed forces and their families by using outdoor wilderness activities in Maine to create comfortable and relaxing milieu for veterans, active duty military, and their families to come together to share their common challenges which come from the service and sacrifice of protecting our nation’s freedom and cherished democratic ideals.
